Hi Lora Roberts here-multifaceted, multilayered, multi disabled, Christian, mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, Veteran, lover of animals and nature. I have earned degrees in Horticulture and Landscape design, am schooled in mechanics, electrical and am quite 'macgyverish;. Having been afflicted with an abundance of -itis's, -opathy's and other tedious physical, and mental, issues and an inability and desire to tolerate pharmaceuticals, I have had to rely on natural, organic remedies and resources to relief and even to help repair the symptoms of of these afflictions, pain being the most prevalent one. I love to and want to share this wisdom, knowledge and first hand experience that helps me, as well as others I personally know, live more productive, happy, healthy fulfilled lives with little to no adverse side effects, using these resources and remedies derived from nature rather than relying on pharmaceuticals and western medicine. It has been shown, and one can easily discover, that gardening and generally being outdoors in nature and in the sunshine is not only enjoyable and mood boosting but can be healing and therapeutic and in most cases is needed for good physical and mental wellbeing, which I know to be true for myself. Eating healthy food is key and begins with knowing the source of your food, no matter what it is, and the process it goes through before it gets to you and what better way to learn about that than from the ground up as well as gaining valuable knowledge and information from others who have experience and practice a more organic natural way of life. The physical activity and interaction with others is just as important as being outside and gardening and can be a source of encouragement for you to pursue such a healthy lifestyle and stick with it.
